Adobe Photoshop Rules! We all know that. I'd gander to say that if God were to use a tool to help him visualize creation, He'd use Photoshop. Now thats not blasphemy. The fact is no other tool has consistently proven its worth when it comes to image manipulation. In the right hands, photoshop can do the most ridiculous and mindblowing things as testified by these 26 Photoshopped Robotic Animals. The only fake thing in these images are the robotic parts. Everything else is real world photos! The level of composition, seamlessness and attention to detail is awesome.
So without wasting any more time reading my diatribe, head on over to see the full 26 Robotic Animals -}

Most sane people have a fear of animating walk cycles. Many events are happening at the same time, and it can seem overwhelming. A single mistake on your first drawing can wreck the rest of the scene. However, the process can be broken down into a series of steps which can go some distance in simplifying the process. A walk cycle can be described by four distinct poses: CONTACT, RECOIL, PASSING and HIGH-POINT. Continue Reading Here:

“Storyboard” is a general term that applies to a lot of different formats and applications. Storyboarding could, generally mean any sketched-out framework for explaining a concept or idea (a complex computer game or website for example), or intricately rendered sketches that show the frames of an advertising campaign or TV commercial. But what we’re talking about here is capturing an intermediate stage between what is in a film director’s head and what will eventually appear on the big screen... Continue Reading:

Smashing Magazine has posted a great group interview targeted to students and young designers. When some of us entered the design industry, we had no guidance, no schools. It was incredibly frustrating and time consuming to figure everything out by ourselves. Design Kingdom was started to help all designers with useful information, resources and help they need.  I love this interview because it has several different points of view from seasoned designers with years of experience. The article covers things like, what to study, whether you should go freelance or get employed in the beginning, what other skills you should learn. All in all, a very good read. Read and get answers and directions for your career path. Click here for full interview -}

Hello Blender freaks, here is another cool one. This one happens to be my best because of the simplicity in the composition not to mention the outstandingly amazing photo-realism. Please note that this is not a tutorial, it is an artwork being discussed in the yafaray forum; simple scene. It will give you a good idea of how to tweak Yafaray settings to give you a photo - realistic render. "From all the renderers available for Blender, YafRay/YafaRay is one of the oldest options to render projects with advanced raytracing options in Blender, and it is one of the best companions for architectural visualization artists that use Blender. In my previous articles here in the blog, you may have notice that YafaRay wasn’t showing up too much lately. Most of the news was related to GPU Render technology or LuxRender. Unfortunately GPU render is still a project for YafaRay, listed as an idea for the SoC 2010. Leaving the GPU render aside, we can still consider YafaRay as one of the best options for architectural render in Blender." Read the article here:

The growth of technology today is so drastic that people might start inventing some of the most ridiculous of things; my imagination eludes me there. I was awed at some of the designs people would like to use in their Laptops of the Future. Actually am compelled to think that some of these exist as prototypes though. " MacTab is the complement to MyBook in the high-end. The incredibly thin wireless keyboard is used as a protection cover for transportation. It stays in place with a combination of magnets and notches." Read entire Article here:
