The growth of technology today is so drastic that people might start inventing some of the most ridiculous of things; my imagination eludes me there. I was awed at some of the designs people would like to use in their Laptops of the Future. Actually am compelled to think that some of these exist as prototypes though.

Introduction

About six years ago, when my business partner and I were starting NVGOR8, we were obsessed with what kind of equipment we'd buy, how sleek it looked, how we'd pay for it, how we'd get the software for the services we were going to provide, etc etc.

To cut a long story short, it was the kind of dream that would put a $25,000 hole in your wallet or bank account. Either that, or you'd spend about 10 years cooling off in Luzira for attempted robbery.

Thing is, the very essence of being a good designer means you spend a lot of your time obsessing about the latest computers, storage, printers, software, etc. Granted, it's not exactly a bad thing to dream big, but we all need to start small.

Case in point, we started our first company, NVGOR8 with a borrowed flash disk and two re-writable CDs, eventually we borrowed a computer and finally we were able to get a laptop, and we grew from there.
