UPDATE: Hadn’t included the link. Here it is: Creative website to help you pass time.
Check out this amazing collection of sites built with Flash, JavaScript and HTML5. Some of them may be insanely useless, but the creativity, design and code behind them make them worth a look.
My personal favourite is the Verbatim Challenge, an insane blend of Flash and 3D, where you create a monster out of Verbatim storage and pitch your creation in mortal combat against other people’s creations. Pretty engaging stuff.
Be careful though, you just might waste your entire day.

One of the things I love designing and prototyping are business cards. A well designed / printed business card speaks volumes even before the recipient reads what’s on this. This showcase of 40 business cards highlights some of the best business card designs I’ve seen… focusing strictly on red cards. I love the entire showcase. see for yourself!

For those of you who are into motion graphics, here are a few quick ones for you.
“I teach Motion to a lot of After Effects users. Sometimes they end up in my class because they want to be there; other times their organization has sent them and they arrive kicking and screaming, ready for a fight. There has been a lot of hype over ActionScript 3.0. Some Flash programmers however feel otherwise and have chosen to stick to the old 2.0. So are they just scared of making the transition or is it that the 2.0 version works better for them?
In this article, the author labours to explain why it is better to use the 3.0 version as opposed to sticking with the 2.0 version and earlier.
